So I just checked at the online status of the CMU application and learned that the application was declined. It was a heartbreaker, but I’m okay. Mmm… maybe I’m not a PhD material? I guess I’ll never find out in the near future. I’ll probably make a final decision between Penn State and Michigan very soon.
If things happen for a reason, then there may be a reason for this. I would like to think that way, but we will see what happens after I get my master.

And yes, things happen for a reason. I know it’s the typical thing we use for consolation but I’d like to think that way too and soon we’ll see what that reason is.

Anyhow, I’m so sorry to hear this na ka.
But, personally though, I guess it’s better to go for master first and see how things go from there. We’ll see whatever the near future will bring you na ka.
Well, both PSU and Michigan are really great in this field, and I think you’ll be happy at either place. So, whatever decision you make will be a great decision na ka.
Let me know whichever it’d be as soon as you make it na ka.
