ANOVA…

You HAVE to read today’s PHD Comics

It’s funny that I ran into the prof that taught me ANOVA a couple of semesters ago. Of course, I didn’t get to say hi to him cuz we was walking WAYYYY too fast… :p

Baby Shower/Party

August 26th, 2007

I just got back from Ingmar and Emily’s baby shower/party. I’m very excited for them. It’s like the beginning of a new chapter in their life. I was more or less the only one who did not know anyone there (well… apart from Emily & Ingmar), but it sure was fun to meet new people! I have to admit that seeing kids there has made me think about my past and future. They reminded me of the times when I was a kid… always having fun with nothing to worry about. They also made me realize that one day, I will have a family.. and kids of my own. It makes me wonder whether I would be able to be a good parent or not. I’ve always been a little uncomfortable around young kids. I love them (well.. most of the time, when they don’t cry! ;) ), but I sometimes get too scared to play with them for fear of *breaking* them. They are so small and they look so fragile! It would break my heart if I drop them and hurt them…

Wondering where/what I will be 5 years from now…

A matter of perspective…

August 26th, 2007

I just read this PHD Comics. It does make me feel better about my age… I’m only 20! :P

And I just realized…

August 22nd, 2007

that the summer break is almost over (just 4 more days), and I haven’t actually made a vacation trip for a quite some time already. The last trip I made was the west coast trip last summer. O well…

Rainy days…

August 21st, 2007

It’s been raining for the past 3 days, and it looks like it will continue for another 2-3 days or so. This totally blows my workout plan this week. It’s pretty sad, as I was doing so well for the past 2 weeks. Oh, and I’m not using rain as my excuse not to go! I totally don’t want to be drenched then catch cold and not be able to go for another 2 weeks (honest! I’ve been getting up at 6:20 for the past 2 days just to look outside and find that it’s raining cats and dogs!). With my current amount of (increased) food consumption (which I have been trying to shove down my throat), I would become a blimp in no time if I don’t get to burn them :(

I have to meet with a friend at my office today to come up with the syllabus for a class. Hopefully, the rain will die down a little, and I will be able to bike to school (wishful thinking). In the meanwhile, I’m going to work on making sure trackback works on my blog… ;)

Edit: Testing trackback to my own post

Blogginglyilested….

August 20th, 2007

An e-mail from Ingmar this morning has made me realized that I haven’t touched this blog for quite a while now. It’s not that I don’t have time to write (as a matter of fact, I have so much time that I’m bored), which is probably why I haven’t been writing. I guess there isn’t any much going on lately that’s worthy of being blogged.

Anyway, I just wanted to welcome Ingmar & Emily to the blog community =D
